Get To Know Dr. McLemore
Dr. McLemore was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and grew up throughout the south, mostly in Naples, Florida. Known to most as just "Chance," he later moved back to his parent's home city of Columbus, Georgia. He went on to attend Auburn University, where he obtained a degree in Microbiology. Wanting to pursue bigger dreams, he received his D.M.D. from the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Dentistry. In 2005, Dr. McLemore met the late Dr. Joseph McNeff. They hit it off immediately, and Dr. McNeff offered Chance the opportunity of a lifetime to join him in his dental practice in Foley, AL.
He married his wife, Carrie, packed their belongings, and moved to the coast. Dr. McLemore's many interests include his great love for mission work, including mission trips to Russia and Ukraine. Chance looks forward to pursuing future mission opportunities at home and abroad. He and his wife, Carrie, have two beautiful daughters. He loves spending time with family, playing sports, fishing, and being involved with his church.
Dr. McLemore has additional continuing education in endodontics, cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, implants, sleep apnea, sedation dentistry, and AAFE certified for Botox.

Joellen m. Havron, D.M.D.
Dr. Havron grew up in Brewton, AL. She graduated from T.R. Miller High School in 2001. She continued her education at the University of Alabama, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Minor in Business in 2005. Dr. Havron then went on to pursue an education in dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where she earned her D.M.D. in 2009.
Dr. Havron is married to Dr. Jess Havron, and they have a son and daughter. She enjoys running, exercising, spending time with her family, and watching Alabama football, Roll Tide!
Dr. Havron has additional continuing education in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, implants, sedation dentistry, ClearCorrect provider, and AAFE certification for Botox.
Crafting confidence, one tooth at a time
Dr. Jacob Baker
Dr. Baker was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia. He went on to graduate from Auburn University and then to UAB School of Dentistry. (Fun Fact: Dr. Baker and Dr. McLemore actually graduated high school, Auburn, and UAB together.) Dr. Baker and his wife Cynthia are high school sweet hearts and have three daughters.
Dr. Baker was a part of our team early on, from 2010 – 2013. He and Cynthia began feeling God call them into the mission field. They and their girls then spent years serving all over the world, but mostly in India.
In his spare time Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with his family – and doing crazy runs/races few are brave enough to try.

Thomas A. Hanson, D.M.D.
Dr. Hanson was born and raised in Edwardsville, Illinois. He made his way to Alabama on a baseball scholarship at Birmingham Southern College where he graduated with a BS in Biology. Dr. Hanson then graduated from UAB Dental School in 1989. Following graduation, Dr. Hanson completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Birmingham.
Dr. Hanson met his wife Shari in Birmingham and they have four children and seven grandchildren. He has been practicing dentistry in Alabama now for 35 years.
Dr. Hanson is excited to join Riviera Dental Care. Dr. Hanson believes that together they will be able to achieve a level of service to their patients that will be unmatched. In his spare time, Dr. Hanson loves to work in his garden, spend time with his family, and watch Alabama football.
